Visit to Lynny's

After I got home to Indiana I drove up to Michigan to see Lyndsay and her family!  Whats another 12 hours on the road....  Anyways, we had a lot of fun, or at least I did =) Lyndsay and I actually made a quilt out of a bunch of my old T-shirts that I had laying around.  I still feel bad about that becasue I HAD NO IDEA how much work was actually involved.  But we managed to pull it off and I think it looks really nice.  I also went to the movies with her and the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks.  I thought it was a pretty good movie, but it was mainly fun to be there with David and Madison. (Jared went home with Jonah because he wasn't feeling well)
This is a picture at Jared's bus stop with him and Maddison.
With David after tumbling class.  I hate to break it to you TJ, PJ, and Clay but I'm pretty sure that I am Davids favorite uncle!!  I've known this since he was just a baby but didn't want to say anything, but I think it is time for yall to know.
With Jonathan shortly after waking up.  One of the cutest pictures of him ever!!
This is the finished quilt.  Maddison actually took the picture and Lynny and I were amazed at how well she did.
Here are a couple pictures of me sewing the quilt.  Don't let the picture be misleading though because Lynny did most of the sewing.   For some reason every time I tried the machine would get jammed.  She worked so hard to get this thing done before I left!!  So thank you again

Visit to Christina

After I left Keddy's I stopped by my friend Christina's house for a couple days in St. Louis.  We were both extremely tiered and worn out from the semesters at school that we had finished so we weren't to active.  An example of that is we had a Harry Potter marathon and watched all 5 movies!  We did however manage to go to the zoo and a Cardinals game.
This first picture is from the zoo of some grizzly bears.  I'm actually posting this for Brynn because every time I am around her she mentions bears!!  Now I haven't determined if that is because she likes bears or if she is afraid of bears so Kelly, show her at your own determination...
This is at the end of the Cardinals game with Christina.  The Cards lost, as do all teams that I go to watch.

Visit to Kelly's x2

Kelly sent me the pictures that she took while I was there so I thought I would post them.  Some of them will be repeats from her page.
This is Brynn at the water shooters.  She was such a brave girl!
I was helping Tyler feed his piggy Cow.  He was so cute the way he would always say "Dank u"
Swinging on their swing set (I actually helped set that thing up a couple of Christmases ago.  It was a pain in
 the butt...)
And another.
Here we were checking the tin foil dinner that we were cooking.  A word to the wise.  When using a dutch oven, make sure that you have enough coals. It was taking so long to cook that we ended up putting the dutch oven in the oven to cook.  It took so long that the hash browns that we made and put in the dinner turned almost completely black.  It was not very appetizing to eat.  Although, it did taste pretty good I thought, given the circumstances.

Visit to Kelly's

Alrighty, so I am going to give this another shot.
My winter semester ended April 10th and I was going to drive home through Colorado but due to a snow storm I was diverted down through Arizona.  Besides the fact that it changed my travel time from about 26 hours to 40 hours of driving this wasn't a bad thing.  I was able to stop off in Arizona to visit my sister Kelly and her family!  It was a lot of fun.  I did a little golfing with PJ, went to Cabelas (my favorite store), hung out with my little niece and nephew, did a little dutch oven cooking, and a bunch of other fun stuff.  I can't add any pictures yet because I realized that they were all taken on Kelly's camera so I will have to get her to send them to me. (although she has a bunch posted on her blog)
The weather was beautiful there, even a little to hot for me.  I am so use to the horrible Rexburg Idaho weather that I just suffered through that it was a little bit of a shock for me.
