Alrighty, so I finally am getting my halloween pictures up. I am actually very surprised with how many people did not know who or what I was. Take a guess....
I'm not really blue guys, I was just standing in some really bad light when this picture was taken =)
....I'm Papa Smurf! The blue paint was actually blue hair dye in a can. I went through 2 cans. It made my skin so dry and pretty cracky. I was also turning everything that I touched blue! Good times. People actually told me that my costume was their favorite at the party, that it was the most original!

Today we had a lasagna throwdown. It was a lot of fun. There were 3 competing in it, me, a friend from the ward Mark, and my roommates Mark and Tyler were together making one.
This was right before we served the food. We were each standing by our creations. We are holding the golden spatula, what we were competing for.
Mark and Tyler, wishing they will win it. (These are the 2 that I am going on the cruise with. Oh, did I mention that I am going on a cruise over thanksgiving!!! One last hurrah before I graduate)

Me, your WINNER, holding the prized golden spatula!!! It was a close race. We were judged out of 5 points for originality, 5 points for looks, and 15 for taste.
My other roommate Tyler and I went camping friday night. It was pretty dang cold, but if you know what you are doing it isn't to bad I guess. It was snowing when we woke up. You can kind of see the snow in the pictures. It was a lot of fun but we might sound a little lame because we went to bed at 7pm and then woke up at 5am.

I could totally tell you were Papa Smurf. That was a great costume!! Maybe next year you could make my kids costumes. =)
So are you definitely going on the cruise or are you still not sure?

Well I already knew that was what yoou were going to be but I am pretty sure I would have been able to tell! ALthough I didnt know they had tails...huh!

Mom, I used the basic outline of your recipe =) Its hard for me to stick to recipes though (for better or worse) so I ended up changing some things. But you were my inspiration!!
Yep, the cruise is a definite now. We are leaving from Miami headed to the Bahamas!! It should be a lot of fun. Lets just hope I don't get sea sick :}
And Smurfs do have tail (I looked them up online to make sure) but everyone was asking me that, saying that they don't, but they do!
